About the Fair & Key Dates
The Istanbul International Arabic Book Fair is the largest Arabic cultural gathering held outside the Arab world. Organised under the auspices of the Arab Publishers Association, it serves as a major bridge between East and West, bringing together hundreds of publishing houses from over 30 countries.
Dates: August 15 – August 23, 2026
Location: Istanbul
Scale: hundreds of international Arabic publishers, cultural institutions, and academic presses.

Book fairs offer access to inventory that rarely makes it into international online listings, including limited runs, rare critical editions (taḥqīq), and specialised scholarly commentaries. During our time at the fair, we will be offering support with purchasing the books you need from your preferred publisher.

Order Books from Istanbul Arabic Book Fair
If you have a specific book wishlist or are searching for a particular print, we are accepting custom orders until August 18th. Please try to send us your order as soon as possible so we can contact publishers in advance and make sure your books will be available. We will also be showcasing some of the books and publishers throughout the book fair period on our social media platforms, In Shaa' Allah.
How to Request a Book
- Complete the form here with information about the books you want. Provide the Title, Author, and Preferred Publisher/Edition (if known).
- We will review your order and provide an average cost for the whole order (it will not differ significantly from the final cost).
- Select the preferred way of payment and pay to confirm your order (you have an opportunity to change your mind until the book is purchased).
- During the book fair, we will locate the books, send you photos if needed, confirm the final price with you, and purchase the books.
- The books will take around 2 weeks from the end of the book fair to arrive in the UK. We expect to start delivering your orders by the 2nd week of September, in Shaa' Allah.
