his text On the Prophetic Hadith I have titled ‘Al-Minhāj min Mīrāth al-Nubuwwah’ (The Clear Path from the Heritage of Prophethood). In selecting its hadīths, I have sought to highlight the central themes of the Sharīʿah and its priorities, and to present the most important matters a Muslim needs in forming his methodological and spiritual understanding, especially along his path of daʿwah and reform. I have selected these narrations from authentic and sound hadith, and have taken care to ensure that the work is suitable for memorisation and easy for the reader to engage with, particularly for the youth of the rising generation and others.

This is a new, updated edition, which includes additions in the chapters, hadīths, and Qurʾānic verses. It will, by the permission of Allāh Almighty, be followed by a written commentary that will address the objectives of this book and clarify its meaning
